Thanks for this invaluable guide! (I'm running the latest build now...) However, I've got near 100% CPU while running (I saw the comment about NOT sorting the user list--but I have no idea how to turn that off...)

Plus, my nick is blue--which confuses me a little... I've got my ports forwarded, etc...

100% cpu usage occurs when loading very large hubs. We're trying to come up with a solution (patches welcome).

Blue icon means you're a DC++ user, green non-DC++ user. Firewall in front of either are passive users.

I know that nmdc-style file listing support is removed from dc++ but can someone make a patch or something so i can compile dc++ with that old filelist support included.
I would appreciate that, because in our lan-hub(the one and only hub i can use) there are several users with these 0.401 version and there is now way on earth i can convince them all to upgrade.

Quick guess, Berlios.de is down, not just linuxdc++.
Reality is what you make of it.

Exactly. We may have to switch soon if this keeps up.

You can access the cvs and the mailing list still.
