    steven, 3 questions:

    1. why don't you work together with the guys who try to port apexdc to linux?

    joined forces could speed up things, no? uhm...

    2. why do right-click commands not work?

    I enabled the "accept commands" option and I also get a message...

    freshstuff - http://lawmaker.no-ip.org/forum/forum.php?id=11 - sends me like 175 right-click commands when I connect to our hub, but then, when I right-click on the user "fresh" (the bot) no menu appears...on windows dc++ this works just fine!

    3. will the remaining right-click menus ever be implemented?

    (dc++ on windows has way more options when you right-click on something)

    We use the default DC++ core, not the StrongDC++ core. This factor will not change. Instead, the StrongDC++ guys should try to get their changes into the DC++ core.

    a) it's not implemented. b) I don't care about such a feature so someone else will have to send a patch.

    Only if they make sense. There is such a thing as feature creep.

    tons of hubs use bots with right-click commands out there and you don't want to support them?

    wtf dude...

    so linuxdc++ will just be another poor and incomplete dc client for linux.

    I thought we had enough of them already, no need for one more - guess I'll pass then...

    A word of support, Stephen. Your port of DC++ is the best I've found fpr *nix (stokedfish, if you know of something better, I'm all ears).

    Yes, it remains a work in progress, in particular I can't connect to older-cored clients in the 0.698 cored versions (a DC++ core bug/feature, I suspect), however, keep up the good work, fellas!

    What part of "someone else will have to send a patch" do you not understand? I am not here to service your every need, I do this on my free time. I don't really know why I bothered answering such a rude person.

    sorry if this question is duplicated - have no time to read all pages;
    Can I create .deb package somehow? Something like checkinstall with make?
    Thx

    I just browsed a DC++ 0.691 user without a problem.
