    Heh, I changed the version string to 0.674 and recompiled. Now everything seems to work fine.

    Thanks for bringing this program to Linux!

    Fixed in CVS.
    Present in todays cvs on a 32bit platform.

    I'm on 64bit and don't experience this problem. I also asked another guy in the channel to reproduce this problem on 32bit and he could not. Deleting ~/.dc++/ and starting ldcpp creates a new profile. HashIndex.xml isn't created until you add a share.

    If you get this error when trying to download the source tree using cvs:

    Code:
    can't create temporary directory /tmp/cvs-serv9546
    No space left on device
    That means the actual berlios CVS server is out of space on their hard drive (your hard drive is fine ). Until berlios fixes it, you can download the latest source here:

    As I said, there are no official binaries so we do not provide support for any that you may find. The one you downloaded is a Debian binary and someone else in the thread has already confirmed it doesn't work on Ubuntu. I should probably remove it from the front page.

    The CVS server has been having issues lately. It seems to be okay at the moment so try it again. You only have to press enter when it prompts for the password.

    Re: HOWTO: Install LinuxDC++

    Seems i'm stuck in some passive-mode thing, can't search and can't download filelists..
    Upgraded from linuxdc++, some older version.. and it took the settings and everything from that, really wounderful!

    But how to fix the downloading issue? the activemode ports are open..
