Is Epson Stylus Photo PX730WD printer supported in (Xubuntu) Linux?
I have the PX720WD which works perfectly.
Driver for he PX730WD can be downloaded from here if needed.
http://avasys.jp/eng/linux_driver/do...n-inkjet/escp/
Download the relevant .deb file.
Indeed.
Wireless works for all the functions on the printer.
As I said, I have the PX720WD which works perfectly, all functions present and correct including the scanner.
The PX730WD is most likely no different, with the driver available from the Epson website,.
Sounds great! Thank you!
Epson Stylus Photo PX730WD All-in-One Printer (in USA: Epson Artisan 730 All-in-One Printer) works perfectly with Xubuntu (Ubuntu, etc.) Linux 11.10 (and 12.04 LTS) out of the box. Printing and scanning (with gscan2pdf or with Simple Scan) also work perfectly over the local Wi-Fi LAN. The setup is more than easy: just install the driver and connect the printer to the wireless network. Download the driver from here: http://download.ebz.epson.net/dsc/se...search/?OSC=LX. The the old site: http://avasys.jp/eng/linux_driver/do...n-inkjet/escp/. You can update the printer software and monitor the ink levels via the printer simple web interface.
Thank you, community!
