I am a regular Ace-us sayer. Seems the most logical to me.
Asus, like, the way it's actually pronounced. What's so hard about that?
With a sloppy schwa, like "the", or a "short U", like "us."
With a "long U" sound, like "boot," to make you cry.
None of those! I'll explain in the thread.

I would say "AY-suss"
Thanks for the responses, everyone! (And I'm enjoying some of the creative ones. = D )
Oh, agreed - I've just never heard any English speaker actually pronounce it the way the lady in the video does. It's also hard to argue that one mispronunciation is more correct than another, which makes just about anything fair game. = )
Ace-us
I pronounce it ah-SOOS.

I used to pronounce it like Ah soos, but then I took a linguistic module to my brain.
Now I pronounce it A - suhs.
AMD PII X6 @ 3.63 GHz - 16 GB DDR3 (1600 No OC) - ASUS Crosshair V Formula
SB X-Fi 2 Sound (8ch) - Intel 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet - Win 8 Pro. x64
AMD R HD 7950 (SAPPHIRE) - WD CG 500GB - Thermaltake Frio CPU Cooler
I pronounce it the correct way. A soos, with a long "a" sound and the first syllable stressed.
It's confusing because it wasn't always pronounced that way. It wasn't too long ago that the company changed its official pronunciation to be that. It used to be pronounced
a SOOS, with the last syllable stressed. As ridiculous as this sounds, they changed the official pronunciation because they wanted to compete more with Acer, which has the first syllable stressed.

The only dumb question is the one not asked.
