Ok, instead of having 3827263 little seperate threads, I'll have one big main one XD
I have no idea which OS to use. Still.
XP is a little boring, it functions properly (well, except for sound, there's no sound driver in it, so it sucks a little) without any problems. But is still...yeah, too boring.
So I wanna try another (Linux) distro. I don't have any specific requirements or limitations, all I do is surf the Net and occassional graphics (I'm not a Photoshop lover but it MUST have GIMP). That's it, really.
Oh yeah, I had [mixed/good] experiences with Ubuntu 11.10. It was using A LOT (and I mean A LOT) of my system resources. But it looked and functioned good. (Am I the only person in the world to actually LIKE Unity?! XD)
Oh, and I want the install to be real smooth, you know. I'm not a massive computer techie or something.
Will some Linux distro pull off with...
