How to update Language Pack?

I already installed some language pack in ubuntu.I sometime can't update ubuntu.

I want to know is " How can i get the newest translation???"

How can i update language pack only?

Is there any way?????????

Language packs usually should get updated along with other system updates. If you want to update the language pack only use:

sudo apt-get install language-pack-xx

Remember to replace "xx" with your desired language code(like "en" for English, "de" for German, etc.). It will either tell you the package is already at the latest version or upgrade if a newer one is available.

Thank you very much for this information, however where can one find a list of valid and applicable language codes as for some languages I suspect they may not be as obvious.

How much time does usually needs to get the new updates of a language? I mean, suppose, I've submitted a new translation, then how much does it take normally to see that translation on running Ubuntu?

I'm really new about these translations matters. So, experts, please help.

I'd recommend you to start a new thread with this question. This one is about updating language packs and it was already answered. Furthermore, this thread is already several month old and maybe 2-3 people are subscribed to it. You're more likely to get an answer in a new thread.
