    stuck at 480p

    • Mini itx
    • Atom 2700DC motherboard
    • Intel NM10
    • Intel GMA 3650, HDMI out
    • No HD, booting from 16gb USB thumb drive
    • Ubuntu only reports one available resolution: 480p SD
    • My skill level = cut-and-paste terminal use

Is there a workable solution to get to HD (720p or up), or should I just return the unit?
    Thank you.

Should make a good netbook..much better than gen 1 atom 945GME rubbish..

Cedar trail (trial) atom & powerVR GPU (like Pousbo GMA500)

From what I find you look to need kernel 3.1 or later or MeeGo1.2.

Maybe you have to install MeeGo & build the kernel module for wlan..

This could be worth a try..

I'd say, send it back. Intel GPUs suck big time on Linux.
