    iPod support

I'm looking for a application that will support my iPod on Ubuntu 10.04. In particular I would like to be able to upload whole playlists from the ipod to my laptop and retain the structure. Does anyone know of a suitable app.?

Have you tried Banshee? I've only synced my ipod from Banshee (not the other way around) but I believe it does what you want.

GTKPOD available in the Software Center

manage songs and playlists on an Apple iPod
gtkpod is a platform independent GUI for Apple's iPod using GTK3.
It allows you to upload songs and playlists to your iPod. It supports ID3
tag editing, multiple charsets for ID3 tags, detects duplicate songs,
allows offline modification of the database with later synchronisation,
    and more.
