Question Ubuntu is identified as Windows. How to change?

I am dual-booting Ubuntu and OS X on my mac.

I removed rEFIt because on another computer my mom nearly reformatted the hard drive by choosing the Windows recovery partition in GRUB (I was already on the way to school when she called).

So, without rEFIt, my mom will not be able to accidentally boot into Ubuntu and the only way to boot into Ubuntu is to hold option/alt at startup, which is OK because I'm still using OS X as my main system.

However, when I hold option/alt I get to a screen with 2 choices, one being "Windows". How do I relabel this to "Ubuntu"?

    (I changed my username)
UPDATE: I tried labeling the partition using ubuntu's disk utility (I called it Ubuntu HD) but no joy.

OS X's Disk Utility thinks Ubuntu is a Boot Camp partition.
