Hi,

I'm a newbie server administrator. I have installed Bind9 on my local server. How I can configure a local domain like: http://document for windows and Mac clients? Because It works only on linux client. On Windows I have to type http://document. instead of http://document to go to document host.

Below are my config files:

* named.conf.local:

//
// Do any local configuration here
//

// Consider adding the 1918 zones here, if they are not used in your
// organization
//include "/etc/bind/zones.rfc1918";

zone "document." {
type master;
file "/etc/bind/db.document";
};

* db.document:

; BIND reverse data file for empty rfc1918 zone
;
; DO NOT EDIT THIS FILE - it is used for multiple zones.
; Instead, copy it, edit named.conf, and use that copy.

Thanks for supporting!
