    Adjust tilt/scrollwheel behavior?

I can't figure out how to adjust the behavior of the scrollwheel on my new mouse. It's a Logitech M325, which is basically just a newer version of what I had. On the old one tilting the wheel engaged horizontal scrolling. On the new one, it acts as a back/forward button. I'd prefer the scrolling behavior.

Does anyone know where I go to adjust this? Thanks!

    I have a Logitech P505.

Currently, tilting the scrollbar scrolls horizontally.

However, if I could, I probably would set it to some other action that is more useful (I rarely find horizontal scrolling useful).

    Perhaps, in the
    Code:
    gconf-editor
, there would be an option for "Left scrollbar tilt" and "Right scrollbar tilt" and the ability to choose between horizontal scrolling and running a command etc..

Or maybe there already is - anyone?

I didn't see anything there. I seem to remember on older versions of Ubuntu (I'm on 12.04 now) there were extensive button-mapping options. I can find nothing now, even after installing ubuntutweak. Plus, why would changing mouses change the setting?

I am Off to my system now , but in system settings look for assistive technologies or mouse settings . I think that gonna have the options regarding that .
Google First your issue , if no solution then ask.

Nothing there. Is it possible that you simply can't do it in Ubuntu?
