libre office calc not interacting with launcher correctly

When I open an .ods from nautilus it shows up on the launcher as a general Libre Office document (the white icon) instead of a Libre Office Calc document (the green icon). This seems to be intermittent. It will do this for a day or two, then the problem disappears for days or weeks. So I assume it must be regressions occurring in upgrades of either Libre Office or the launcher? If I first open Calc and then open the desired document from it then it shows up on the launcher correctly.

The reason this is a bit of an annoyance is that I make heavy use of the <Super>+number hotkeys for application switching and Calc is a permanent item on my launcher. So when the document doesn't come up in the expected way it tends to interfere with my work flow.

Cool Re: libre office calc not interacting with launcher correctly

I'm seeing the same issue, but with Office Icon not showing the LibreOffice Writer. I have 3 .docs open and earlier today had the Writer icon. Now I have the Office icon and while 3 docs are open, only one arrow appears next to it and clicking on it doesn't bring up any document. (see attached)
