How to play game on wine without installing?

Hi. I'm too new on Linux. Can you tell me how to play games with wine without installing them? I only have .exe file that runs game. When I try to run it, Wine says:

The file '/home/ofd/MasaŁstŁ/WorldOfGoo/WorldOfGoo.exe' is not marked as executable. If this was downloaded or copied from an untrusted source, it may be dangerous to run. For more details, read about the executable bit.

The next problem is my Linux is too slow. Extra slow in ubuntu software center. Is it slow only on my computer? Ubuntu is installed via wubi. Can this cause slowness?

Thanks. I'm waiting for your help.

Hi, right click on the .exe file you have, click Properties, open the Permissions tab, and check the "Allow executing file as program" checkbox. Then, try to open it with Wine again.

What kind of computer are you running Ubuntu on?

    Intel Core2Duo 2.5GHz CPU.
GeForce 8600M GT GPU (Driver isn't installed. Because newest drive has issue that I can't solve. I used to use old driver in Windows but I couldn't find it here.)

    I'm trying it now.

i installed assassins creed on ubuntu using original cd, but there is a BIG problem with graphics. i can't install graphic drivers, nor can i manage wine. Its a bit confusing as to which version to use if decided not to go with standard installation. what can i do to play it???

Go to system settings > restricted-additional drivers. I see my graphic drivers there.
