    Webcam on Macbook not working

    Hey guys, I'm running Ubuntu 11.10 on an old black 13" macbook, and everything is working well except my built in webcam isn't working. Any advice? I'm probably missing the driver for it but not sure how to get it.

    Diddo here. Nothing but black. I have a Macbook 1,1.
    Ubuntu Lucid 10.04
    Running Compiz Fusion across Dual LCD monitors on nVidia 7300

    Lucid fixed so much on my MacBook 2.0 GHz, 2GB RAM, 200GB

    Depending on what Macbook version you have, you might find this site useful:

    The camera needs special installation steps since it uses proprietary firmware. You need OSX to get the firmware and here is a description on how to do it:
