Unity launcher key change -> short-cuts don't work

    Hi,
When I change the Unity launcher key from <Super> to <Ctrl>+<Super>, I can no longer run a program embedded in the task bar by pressing launcher + number key combination.

Specifically, I was able to launch the first(top-most) program in the task bar by pressing <Super>+1 and bring it to the front when minimized by pressing <Super>+1 again.

Now since I changed the launcher key from <Super> to <Ctrl>+<Super>, I expect it to show the same behaviour if I press <Ctrl>+<Super>+1 to execute or bring front the first program, which doesn't work.
If I press <Ctrl>+<Super> and hold, at least it shows numbers from 1 to 9 and 0 on embedded icons in the task bar, but that's all.

Is it a bug? Does anyone know how to solve this?

Since the Super key overlaps with the guest Windows in my VirtualBox, I need to change it. (And also several other reasons.)

    Thanks!

...it works for me. How are you setting the keybindings?

I changed in ccsm -> Unity plugin -> "Key to show the launcher".
It also doesn't work if I change it to <Alt>+<Super>.
Did you change your key binding somewhere else?

No....but mine works. I hit "Grab key combination" and then Ctrl-Super, but it works for me. IDK. It shows as "<Primary><Ctrl><Super>" though...

I tried your method by triggering from "grab keys" but didn't work for me. I also don't see any "Primary" in my case.
Maybe it's keyboard-dependent. I'm using a Cherry basic multimedia keyboard.

    Anyway, thanks for your reply.
