    11.10 Unity--how do I edit/remove app icons from More Apps lens

    I now have several dead apps listed in the "More Apps" lens. I have search various files but cannot find the file to edit including /home/user/.local/share/applications/.

    Is there a way to edit these?

    Look in /usr/share/applications

    I solved the problem partially by going to Main Menu in the app search section of the dash, and removing what I don't want to show up.
