Playstation (PS3) Converting FF MPEG

I have winff (or ffmpeg) think it is the same think installed. What is the code required to convert a .vob file to a playstation 3 format code ?

Does anyone know what file types the playstation can read ?

Also there are a lot of .vob files and some .bup files what do these do...

Media formats have become so complicated these days that I either I feel like I am getting older or more stupid, its hard to keep up.

How do I convert a .vob file to a ps3 format ? Thank you

I believe the PS3 uses MP4 video format. Handbrake can convert to mp4.

Whats Wrong With Winff?
And PS3 is mp4 stated above.

If You Dont Got All The Plugins It Wont Work Correctly.

First Install extra codecs.

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras

Then use winff.

just for those who cant get it working.
