Question Backup current state of Computer - 11.10

    Hi all,

I was wondering if there was a way to backup the current state of my computer with all the configs and Drivers that Ive installed/configured.

I am asking this just in-case I mess up whilst installing other things
I would prefer If i could backup to a disk (or two) or my external HDD(120GB).

Currently I've got documents and stuff on my external HDD so discs would be best if possible.

Basically; If i mess up, I would like to be-able to put these discs in and click restore or restore the backups via terminal if i can access it.

    Thanks,
    Jamie.

Probably clonezilla would be one of the easiest ways to have a backup of absolutely everything.

It does what it says on the tin; ie, makes a clone of a whole disk or partition, and then allows you to restore that clone to another disk or partition.
