DockBarX doesn't start up; Stops working if I close all opened windows

DockBarX doesn't start up until I do alt-F2 dockx, and it will only work if I open some window before.

Than, unless I leave something pinned, dockbarx will stop working if I close all windows. It leaves only a small vertical bar (about 20 px wide)

I'm on 11.10

I've basically runned all commands I could find posted by the developer lol, installed a bunch of stuff I don't know what they are for, but still it won't work

Can you post the log? ~/.dockbarx/log/dockbarx.log
If the dock is working correctly right now, you might have to post some of the older logs (dockbarx.log.1 or dockbarx.log.2 or so on) instead.
