    [Ubuntu 11.10] Brother MFC 465CN showing as "Generic text-only printer"

    I recently upgraded to Ubuntu 11.10 from 10.10. I installed
    Code:
    brother-lpr-drivers-extra brother-cups-wrapper-extra
    as suggested here, but while it's now detected (it wasn't before) it says it's a generic text-only printer.

    I tried rebooting to make sure that it wasn't a glitch, removed and reinstalled printer and tried again, same issue.

    The printer is connected via USB.
    Another round of Ubuntu for my friends here!
