cant connect Huawei data card in 11.04

Hello guyz..
I recently bought a data card of Huawei model: umg1961. It was getting detected as Mobile Broadband connection in the Network Manager but later when I installed a tata docomo user interface package for connecting the data card, the Huawei data card is not being detected as Mobile broadband instead its showing as Wired Network(Broadcom Netlink BCM...).. Though I can connect by this interface also but I am not getting the right speed as I was getting before..

If your modem was detected correctly it should show a 'New Mobile Broadband connection' in NetworkManager applet. It show prompt you with default values for India --> Tata Docomo --> tata.docomo.internet (for GPRS -- use 'tatadocomo3g' as APN for 3G). Accept them to create connection. you don't need 3rd party software.
