    Macbook Pro 7,1&Oneiric

    hi all,
    first im sorry for my bad english,
    i have mbp7.1-13.3" 2.4 ghz 6gb ram (i added 2 gb extra) and replaced my orig. hdd to ssd (Corsair Force 3 SSD 120 gb i updated firmware to 1.3.3) and im using SL and win7 seperate partition.
    i decided to install ubuntu 11.10-64 bit. installation was succesfully but mbp is not boot ubuntu (i recieve sometimes ata1, udma, initramfs fails). i didnt with try original hdd. i dont know what can i do, is it related hdd or mbp hardware?

    ps: i installed mint 12, installation finished flawlessly but grub is not seen (only black screen with blinking cursor).

    You might need to repair the hybrid mbr, did you partition your drive using bootcamp? Go to:
    https://help.ubuntu.com/community/MacBookPro7-1/Oneiric
    and look at the triple boot section...

    i upgraded my corsair force 3 120 gb ssd firmware 1.3 to 1.3.3 and my problem is solved. ubuntu is flying ...
