Question Using a Sharp YO-530 and 136T converter in Linux

I have a Sharp YO-530 and a 136T converter cable that goes to COM1 (Serial). Is there a way to make this work properly in Linux?

The 136T cable does not work in Windows, it does however work in DOS. The 139T cable works in windows but that cable is not available anywhere.

I can run XLinks in wine, seems like it sees the device but does not transmit anything.

I am trying to do a full backup of the device.
