Help with Gimp uninstall
Hi,
I did an upgrade to gimp and now I have some missing files or they are a mismatch to what I need. I've tried to delete the files and re-install the program again. It will not let me do it because Kubuntu says I have broken files that I need to get rid of first. Can someone tell me how to get rid of the broken file and start over with a clean install? I am using Ubuntu 11.10 with the Kubuntu desktop.
Thanks,

Re: Help with Gimp uninstall
Thanks for the replies! I have been able to re-install Gimp 2.6, however, it does not run. When I launch it from the terminal it give me an error.
jerry@jerry-laptop:~$ gimp-2.6
gimp-2.6: error while loading shared libraries: libgegl-0.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Does anyone have an idea what this means? I am somewhat new to Ubuntu, but you probably new that.
Thanks for your help.
