Exclamation Ipod Touch OS 5 and Ubuntu 10.04 (32)

After a new install of Ubuntu 10.04 I used to plug in my ipod touch and it would mount on the desktop. I was able to see it in Rythumbox but unable to drag music from my computer onto the ipod.
Checked the forums and updated libmobiledevice and everything else some people had luck with.
Now when I plug in my ipod it dosent mount at all or even seen in Rythumbox.

My Creative Zen works fine as does my sons sansa but nothing with ipod.

My question is this...how can I get back to the original configuration so that at least the ipod mounts in Ubuntu. Im new to Linux but quite impressed with it so far....The ipod touch seems to be an issue but thats life I guess.... At least if it mounts I can try to fix the other issue of not being able to drag music onto it.

    Thanks

I havn't heard of anyone getting iOS 5 going with ubuntu yet. The problem being that iOS 5 is still too new, and the devs need time to catch up and develop for it. I could be wrong, but you may have to wait a while.
