11.10 64 bit: touchpad does NOT work by default

Googling around, I found that I had to add the following in /etc/rc.local:

    modprobe -r psmouse
    modprobe psmouse proto=imps

Re: 11.10 64 bit: touchpad does NOT work by default

As of today, the touchpad is now working fine and I don't have to use my USB mouse. I apply new patches everyday, and the last time I tried to live without my USB mouse was around Mon / Tue, so some new patches in the last 5 days resolved the problem.

To whoever who developed the bug-fix, thank you!
