Anyway to make Ubuntu look like this?

    HI Everyone,

I like the curved integrated unity borders in this:

Anyway to make Ubuntu look like it?

Well right in the screenshot it says that its Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, maybe that's one of the features of 12.04? What version of Ubuntu do you have?

Un fortunately that is a mock up of what an ubuntu user hope to see in Unity 5, coming with 12.04. You are welcome to try either (I'm currently running both) but as yet the boarders are still at right angles. Also Unity won't ship with the OS X background

Hopefully there'll be a unity plugin for something similar?

    All the best

It doesn't make sense to me. Really, would it not be necessary to make the top panel include some translucent background down the left side to get that level of "integration" ... especially the highlighting line that goes under the top panel, then around the curve, and then down along the side of the left panel? Then the Unity dock could be superimposed upon the translucent background, or something? Essentially, the top and left panels would be merged, but the left panel would be left blank so that Unity could be on top of it, without interference from random left panel icons or other stuff. Doable, most likely, but I doubt if that's what's in the works.

It does look extremely cool, though! I'd use it too if it was available! I'm using Lucid Lynx 10.04 LTS right now, so I'll be switching to Precise Pangolin 12.04 LTS when it's released (well ... I'll probably wait a week or more, just to avoid the download bottlenecks!).
