Unhappy I don't want my iPhone to mount in Ubuntu 11.10. How do I do this?

I'd like to be able to plug my iPhone into my work laptop to charge, I just don't want the phone to mount to Ubuntu 11.10. How can I configure 11.10 to NOT mount when the iPhone is plugged in?

    Thanks...

As far as I know, if you set your iPhone to not automount, then you will also have to set everything not to automount using a global setting (which I don't remember where it is, but you can look under System Settings).

Would it be suitable to let it mount when you plug it in, then right click and select unmount from the dropdown menu?
