    Re: winff/ffmpeg problem

I suspect you have a version of FFmpeg that has been crippled by the packagers. Have a look here for a possible solution:

HOWTO: Easily enable MP3, MPEG4, AAC, and other restricted encoders in FFmpeg

You think that's air you're breathing now?

You'll need to follow Option C from the link Andrew provided.

What "Convert To..." and "Device Preset" did you choose in WinFF? Are you using Ubuntu Lucid?

    Re: winff/ffmpeg problem

I don't have that "Device Preset" in WinFF from the repository so I can't see what the exact problem is, but your version of FFmpeg most likely uses a different syntax than what your version of WinFF uses and gives you the broken ffmpeg default settings detected message.

You can use ffmpeg directly instead:
    Code:
    ffmpeg -i input -s 320x240 -vcodec libx264 -vpre normal -vpre baseline -crf 28 -acodec libfaac -ab 64k -ac 2 -threads 0 output.3gp
Or someone more familiar with WinFF may be able to direct you to proper WinFF presets.
