    Toshiba Satellite L750/0QM

    Hello,

I am currently looking to buy a Toshiba Satellite L750/0QM for $630 AUD. I am wondering how good does it support Ubuntu and what drivers what I need to install if any. Also is there any features that will not work with the Toshiba Satellite L750/0QM?

I installed Ubuntu several days ago onto my daughters satellite L750, intel i3 and the only issue I had was the track pad and mouse continually froze which wasn't a big issue for me as I prefer an external mouse, I ended up installing Mint but may have a look at Ubuntu on the Satellite again shortly if my daughter ever gets off facebook.

Thanks whoohoo, I proberly buy a external mouse any way as I am not a huge fan of the trackpad either.

Try unckecking the 'disable touchpad' when typing option. I have the L750-14R, and my trackpad would stop working and would freeze etc. But, after unchecking that option, I've had no problems.
