Plex Media Server difficulties on Oneiric

My system is Oneiric, 64 bit.
I installed plex media server by adding deb http://www.plexapp.com/repo lucid main to the /etc/apt/sources.list file
Is that the proper way to install this application on Oneiric?
I find that it is impossible for me to add videos to the application and wonder if it is due to an improper install.

Solved this issue by renaming the foldersin which the video files reside and the vidoe files. Some of the files and folders had multiple periods in them.
I renamed to folders so that they were shorter and did not have periods in them.
The Plex Media server functions perfectly now.
