    Do you have firestarter installed by any chance ? or any other firewall interface ?

    I know firestarter conflicts with UFW and it wont be active upon a reboot ?

    I do have firestarter installed, I should have known, a program that hasn't been touched since 2005 probably isn't ideal for security. time to use:

    Indeed, i bet that solves the issue, it is known bug with firestarter installed.

    firestarter is out of date and buggy for sure, and causes conflicts with UFW.

    If you get it solved, post back and mark the thread as solved.
