Why are all of the SOPA & PIPA threads being closed for politics when it directly affects free and open source issues? That is one area of politics that is allowed by the CoC, yet everyone just sees "politics" and immediately shuts it down without thinking about how it applies.
If you don't want to allow politics that are directly related to free and open source issues anymore, then you need to change the CoC.

Thank you for changing what it says at the top of Cafe threads to fit that. When I posted this thread this morning, it still said something like "except for politics directly related to free and open source issues". I can abide by absolutely no politics since the posted rule has been changed.
