That's too bad. I haven't found a browser it doesn't work in yet, though some don't render properly. Well, I guess you have tested it in your desktop browser, and as long as it works there there's not much I can do since I don't own a Pre 2.

Of course. The installation instructions contain links to both a .deb and a .tar.bz2 file which contains the source to the latest version. Or you can go here for all versions:
