Question wireless keyboard and mouse cut out randomly?

    Morning all,

I am using a Logitech K520 keyboard and mouse pair.
I used to run it on ubuntu 10.04 and 10.10 (can't remember the names). And it worked straight out of the box no problem.

I've now done a completely clean install, (new hard drive), of ubuntu and loaded 11.10.

Keyboard and mouse work as they should, and they work fine with the BIOS too, before I loaded an OS.

However, they do now randomly cut out and stop working. Either the mouse or the keyboard. The only way I can get them back, is to reboot, and then they work just fine.

[I've obviously tried fresh batteries and it makes no difference.]

Has anyone got any ideas on how to fix this?
Aside from waiting for 12.04 and hoping, or switching distro.

    Thank you

    bump.

So has anyone else seen this? Is there any related issue that people know about?

Shall I register it as a bug??

    Is there anyone out there?

I know it's old. But I have similar problem. The keyboard randomly stops working for a while (like 3 s) while mouse is fine. Re-plugging the dongle seem to help.
