    If, per chance, you are starting completely from scratch with the command line, as a noob like me, you may find the Command Line Syntax confusing... Foo this and Foo that...

    Post #2, shows a link for Command Line How To from Ubuntu Documentation, that within, shows a good explanation of the syntax.

    Every time I come across a new command, I write about it in a text file. I'll post it if anyone is interested.
