Stream Type Indeterminable?

So, I had a music file which I lost the password too (in .rar format)and used rarcrack to handle it. It cracked it and spit me out the mp3's. Then I went to try to play it RBox and it said that the stream type couldn't be determined. Not sure how to fix this.

Do you have all of the right codecs & plugins installed? Gstreamer plugins for instance ... the good and the ugly ones. Just look for gstreamer in the software center. If you have all of the codes the mp3 should play ... unless it got corrupted somehow during the extraction process.
Have you tried a different player? VLC plays darn near any media file ...
