First Cup of Ubuntu
I have bought a VPS Server with Ubuntu 11.04, but this ubuntu has no Unity, it's only console/terminal version i think. I tried to install Unity but it still doesn't works. First I tried "sudo apt-get install unity-2d" and "sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop", and then I conected to my server using VNC but I can see only gray screen with nothing. How to install and run the Unity corectly on my server?

Have you installed the graphics drivers to run Ubuntu desktop ?
Dont miss anything even it is small. one small pin is enough to bring down a man.
