I'm on the reduced iso now from a usb stick, Nice !
The reduced version has all the dev packages removed, and all the symbols removed from the binaries so that the ISO is smaller.

If you're not a developer, there's no difference in the user experience of those CDs, except the ISO is smaller

    OK thanks.
Just did update-user and now get *[ERROR]* failed to set mode on [CRTC:10], worked good before, any fix for that ?

There was no need to run the updater commands. The updater commands only pull the latest scripts and files from my SVN, all the compiled external software is not updated unless you tell it to build.

I'm in the middle of adding session type support to the login manager, where it can handle the describer files as the .desktop file spec. When you ran it, it probably pulled a backup commit.

I upgraded the ISO base to Ubuntu Saucy, and I also created a utility wizard (with a zenity frontend) to help users configure devices for supporting weston's multipointer ability

This is an easy way to configure it otherwise, the users would have had to edit udev files manually, and understand udev.

I don't know if this is good enough for a new ISO. I at least want to get another shell compiling and working on Weston, because my loginmanager has the ability to select a shell before login, like you can on an X login manager. But really only one works...

    How is the iso going?

I thought there would be a new maui out by now, guess he's busy with other things.

It's going good. I've been getting some assistance from the Hawaii developer. I now have the Hawaii shell as a selectable option the only thing is that there is something wrong with the way Hawaii is searching for icons. The panel appears blank.

I also added orbital (which I knew about and added BEFORE the Phoronix article )
I might also be able to add Consort-Desktop, which is another Weston shell. It's not yet fit for 1.2, but the developer told me he might be able to port it to work on Weston and Wayland 1.2 this week.
