Trying to work out which directories are used for weston - not sure yet how the user
permissions are changing my results - but they seem to make a big difference
Code:
keith5@keith-K53SV:~$ wlsudo weston-terminal
wlsudo: Running command: sudo -E waylandapp weston-terminal ...
[sudo] password for keith5:
Error: "/var/tmp/kdecache-keith5" is owned by uid 1001 instead of uid 0.
kdialog(15039)/kdeui (kdelibs): Session bus not found
To circumvent this problem try the following command (with Linux and bash)
export $(dbus-launch)
KCrash: Application 'kdialog' crashing...
KCrash: Attempting to start /usr/lib/kde4/libexec/drkonqi from kdeinit
sock_file=/home/keith5/.kde/socket-keith-K53SV/kdeinit4__0
keith5@keith-K53SV:~$
run as usr - but not sure if this runs from /usr/bin/
westoncaller
Then the ones that were compiled into the opt directory but these also exist in the /usr/bin/
/opt/bin/
weston
Then some so files ..... that get mentioned in the listing above ......
/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/weston/
