Just can't get anything going here...

I might release a new ISO soon,
as far as Hawaii goes, I noticed they made a change that might get the compositor to compile, which has the Desktop environment, and panels... I'll try to see if it working on Weston though...
I'm also experiancing a problem with some programs crashing Weston now on Virtualbox, and I also would like to get a Wayland login manager working, to not have to rely on X for login before I release a new ISO.

I think so. I switched the base to Ubuntu Raring, but I am having issues with Mesa and a few glitches that were not there before. If I can get it working, I will push a new ISO.

It is based on Raring.

The only thing it's missing I think are the KDE unit test examples for Frameworks, as that didn't compile.

Downloaded it twice and got two differant checksums, tried startup disk creator, no go, dd, no go and unetbootin finally worked but the installer crashed after three times, so im lost.
Wonder if anyone else has had any luck or info ?

I just encountered another person on the #Wayland IRC that had issues with the ISO download, and another one that was able to get it to run. I really don't know what's up with Sourceforge's download servers...

The second time I DL it the checksum was 40e... and it boots with unetbootin but the installer crashes about 30% of the way through.

Everything seems to work good from the flash drive, just can't get it to install.

Well I am using Raring as the base. Sometimes the Ubiquity installer gets flakey during the development releases...
Try sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
maybe there's a fixed version of Ubiquity already?
