OK, I had problems with Maui updates on Arch Linux, oh well!

Thanks for the update and good luck.

    Re: Wayland Live CD

Well... I've been making some progress. I still have to try to see if I can get Enlightenment's native Wayland Compositor, and Native Wayland gnome shell started, but if you look in this screenshot here, check out what I have running as native Wayland clients.

I'm still trying to figure out why TTY switching isn't working anymore too...

    Hey nerdopolis

I just saw that a native Chromium browser for Wayland has been released:

Do you think you can get this working on the live CD?

    Re: Wayland Live CD

I had already tried the chromium build process, and it pulled 12GB of sources... which the same size of all the sources I have cached now, as well as the saved .debs, and the saved chroot system. I would have to use twice the space for a web browser. I didn't try to see how long it would take to compile it all, or how much space it would use on the CD.
But I already have a wayland native browser for now, the sample qtwebkit one. It doesn't work with Flash, because the flash plugin makes it do an X call... but it can play html5 videos

    Re: Wayland Live CD

Mostly just the KDE/Calligra apps. I don't have gnome-shell-wayland yet (although I think I might be getting closer now), or the Wayland enabled e19 compositor yet, so I didn't announce that ISO

I see in SVN you have gnome-shell-wayland running but crashes, sounds good, can't wait to try it.

    Good luck

    p.s.
Is there any way to try gnome-shell-wayland in the Nov 17 ?

Had to reinstall, I messed up ! Trying new one, I see vte2 moved, was wondering why Midnight Commander didn't work.
