synaptics mouse gestures

Is it possible to configure custom mouse gestures for Xubuntu (synaptics driver) ? for instance I'd like to get zooming in/out functionality when both fingers are moved away diagonally.. Double tap scrolling works fine here, but I think it'd be great to get more stuff as implemented by some Windows touchpad drivers.
