    Threads like this are specifically allowed in the Community Cafe. It shouldn't have been closed.

    I agree with closure of that thread. First it is a single post with a link off site. Second, although the link refers to "Open source" , the article has more discussion about politics then open source.

    I also support the closure of the thread on political grounds. I would add that creating a thread with nothing but a link comes across as spammy.
