Adom, Avanor...

If you like ADOM you should check out www.avanor.com - it's very similar when it comes to intuitive controls etc. and I like the atmosphere of it. Emailed the author with some ideas etc.

If you don't know what the hell am I talking about - search for 'roguelike' in Wikipedia.

Linley's Dungeon Crawl is so much better I don't even know where to start. I could go on about that for several pages, if anyone's interested.

And Darshan's travel patch is a nice addition, too.

I'm currently trying out Crawl, but so far (only 10 min of playing though) I fail to see why it's better than ADOM? Could you explain what you like about it and why it's more fun than ADOM?
