    Extracting frames from a vidoe and converting to image file

    Is it possible to extract a particular frame from a video file and and convert it to an image file using ffmpeg ?

    can any one tell me how to extractI and P frames from a video using ffmpeg, and how to recognize them? is there any flags or bit to recognize I from P frames? please i need a help
