    Exclamation Dolphin cannot overwrite folders

Apparently, a recent version of dolphin removed the ability for users to overwrite files.

Here's the scenario. Directory A and Directory B both contain a directory called "test". If I try to copy the directory called "test" from A to B (or vice versa), I am prompted with the following options:

    • Suggest New Name / Rename
    • Skip
    • Write Into
    • Cancel

    There is no overwrite option.

Conversely, there is an overwrite option for files - just not folders.

    Anyone else experience this?

    Thoughts? Comments? Workarounds?

"Write into" is the option you want.

Nope. All that does is take the contents of both folders and merge them into the destination folder. Which is a nice feature, but not what I'm looking for.

    Oh, sorry. I'm stumped then.
