xfce start menu changed to 000000000

I've just noticed that as of today (most likely after some update or other) that the start menu, instead of saying Applications, says 000000000 and the tooltip says the same. I've no idea what happened or why it bothers me but I would like to know how to change it back if it's at all possible.

Has anyone else seen this?

edit: I've just realised that nobody else will have seen this as my two year old daughter seems to have been doing some hacking! Still, if you know how to undo it...

Right-click the applications menu (or the 00000000 menu title) and choose properties. There you can change the title for the applications menu.

Can you add a new application menu to the panel and remove the offending one?
