    Question Sis graphic card driver

I've got a SiS 661FX/GX in my computer and I'd like to increase graphic performance by installing proprietary drivers.
According to lspci | grep VGA, here's my integrated video adapter:
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] 661/741/760 PCI/AGP or 662/761Gx PCIE VGA Display Adapter
I've already looked for it on the internet, but the only thing I found is a link to a website that doesn't exist anymore (www.winischhofer.e ecc ecc).

Open drivers works quite well, but I'd like something more, if it is possible.
    I'm using Ubuntu 10.04 32 bit.
    Xubuntu 10.04 64 Bit

Check the Proprietary Drivers under System>>Administration>>Hardware Drivers

Here you will see your "Current Recommended" drivers activate them.

The only driver you can use for an SiS graphics card, is the one you are currently using. SiS doesn't make a proprietary driver for Linux. Sorry!
I try to treat the cause, not the symptom. I avoid the terminal in instructions, unless it's easier or necessary. My instructions will work within the Ubuntu system, instead of breaking or subverting it. Those are the three guarantees to the helpee.
